*PREPARE FOR LONG SCATHING RANT*

A huge women’s magazine posed this question last week, as they published 10 women’s feelings about their facelifts in their early forties.

My take is: NO OBVIOUSLY FUCKING NOT.

Listen, I am always pro autonomy, and don't disapprove of people’s choices as to how they choose to resolve their physical grievances… but I draw the line at this level of gaslighting.

Women are now seen as so impressionable, vulnerable, desperate and incapable of critical thinking, by a beauty industry that makes almost 700 BILLION a year from our insecurities… that they think they can slip this bullshit past us and we won’t notice!

Are hair transplants pro-balding? Are weight loss medications pro fat? Is viagra pro-flaccidity? Is the death penalty for women who have abortions pro-life? Is lying to women who buy your magazines pro-truth?
